It is no secret that the last tine I was in Paris I was still sick with food poisoning!!!! But, I was not this time! I arrived around noon again and headed to my hotel. It was in the center of town. My local promo rep informed me that my schedule was not too busy. This was OK...I had only slept about 3 hours the night before. I always have trouble sleeping when I know I have to awaken early! My day was finished at around 6PM. I was to meet with the head of my French Promotion Olivier. We headed to dinner. My hotel was right near the Moulin Rouge. Both of the venues that Savatage had played in Paris were right on this street. I decided to try something different and ate some Ostrich! It was actually really good! We discussed a game plan for France and his girlfriend arrived...after desert I was alone again! I just wanted to wander and take photos. I walked up the hill towards the Montmarte Cathedral. The view of Paris is amazing from there. The whole city is so cool. I really enjoy it there. The old restaurants...the lights. Kinda depressing on your own! Even more depressing when I realized that I was there one day before Kemp! She had a modeling job there and was flying in at the same time that I was flying to Milan. I returned to my hotel at around midnight again. I checked my mail...said hello on the site and tried to sleep. I had to wake up at 5AM to try to get to the airport in time to see Kemp. Luckily I was waking up quite frequently because I forgot to plug the phone back in! I was using the line for the internet! If I had not awakened I would have missed Kemp and my day in Milan!!!!!!! I took a taxi to the airport...tried to locate my gate and then headed to find Kemp. He flight was delayed! Yikes...I waited and waited...Finally I managed to see her for about 10 minutes. She had to go to work...I had to go to Italy! It was still so nice to see my best friend again!
Next stop Milan!!!
