I arrived in Norway very tired and a bit beat up! I was greeted by one of the two Frode’s I know there! The first was Sava-Nomad Supreme Frode...He works at the airport and was there to greet me as I left the plane. I was handed tomorrow’s boarding pass and said good-bye to Frode #1 til later. I was soon greeted by Frode #2! Both of the Frode’s work with Scream Magazine. The big metal magazine in Norway. Nomad Frode is a writer. Many of the Norwegian journalists were on vacation so my day was not too crazy. This I was happy about. I was so run down! I checked into my hotel and took a shower. It was then that I decided to shave my beard this day. Time for a new Face!!! I headed out for photos, McDonald’s and some post cards. I returned to my room and awaited the journalists. My interviews lasted until about 8PM. The final one was with Nomad Frode! He really liked my CD’s. This made me happy because he is a good friend and a big critic of everything we do with Savatage. We talked for about an hour and then it was time for a nice Viking meal. STEAK! We headed out and stuffed ourselves. Everyone had to work in the morning so we did not get too crazy. Actually we just wandered around Oslo and I took photos. I was given a grand Viking tour of the city. Everything was so quiet in Oslo this night. We stopped in a couple of Heavy Metal bars and the night was over about 12AM. I headed to the hotel and attempted to fall asleep. I had another very early flight. Thanks Frode’s for the hospitality!!!
